  I had taken my daughter there since moved over the hill to PV. She had a fever for almost a week and was not herself. The Dr there said she had allergies and sent us on our way. Parents know when their kids are not right, I took her back to Cottonwood to her normal Dr and one chest x-ray later....pneumonia....not allergies. I called Ponderosa back and told them the different response we received from our regular Dr and they basically said 'Oopsies' and that was it. Would not recommend them.

  We have been going here for years and will NEVER bring our children here again. I am a medical professional and was tuned into CPS by Dr Eckman when I refused an ambulance transport to Prescott Valley. I informed Dr Eckman that I would transport my daughter in my own vehicle and she immediately threatened my wife and I with calling CPS. I drove my daughter, on oxygen to YRMC, where my daughter was than released less than 2 hours later after receiving a nebulizer. My daughter was never even offered a breathing treatment at Ponderosa so in turn we we had an ER visit that will cost well over $500. As someone in this profession, patient advocacy is paramount. Do not expect your children to get it at this practice.
